BDP: How do you feel about how your team has done this season & how do you feel about your performance?

We are doing okay. We are 5-2. We won last night 67-64 & we were coming off a 2-game losing streak. We got back on track & we have a game Saturday night & hopefully we can stay on track.
As far as my game, it isn't as consistent as I want it to be, but it is coming back. It takes a while to come back from football. I still need to get into the shape that I need to be in order to go a whole game. The jumper is becoming more consistent & I am starting to dribble the ball lower, which is where I want it to be.
We are doing okay, but we still have a lot of room for improvement.

BDP: Do you have any plans set up to attend a Duke game sometime this year?

I am not sure yet. We are still trying to figure out our school schedule because we had a game cancelled because of the weather & we had a team cancel on us.

BDP: Have you heard anything from anyone on the Duke staff lately?

Coach K called a couple of days ago. He was telling me about McClure & Nelson playing down there. I usually hear from him about once every week or so.

BDP: Do you have any idea what you plan to major in a Duke?

I haven't really thought about it much. But I know that I would like to get into coaching at some point.

BDP: Has the change in the football staff had any effect on your thought about playing football at Duke & have you heard anything from the new football staff?

I am not even thinking about that right now. I am just focused on my school basketball team. I haven't heard anything from the new staff at all.

BDP: Have you watched any Duke games this year?

Yea. I try to watch them whenever I can. Sometimes they play on the same night that my team plays, but I try to watch them as much as possible. I think they have looked pretty good so far this year.

BDP: What are your hobbies, or what do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I like to play PlayStation, hang out with my friends, & spend some time with my family whenever we can get us all together.

BDP: Who are your favorite professional teams in any sport?

I don't really like baseball that much. It is too slow for me. I don't really have a favorite team. I like to watch Peyton Manning & Brett Farve. I also like to watch Eli Manning in college. In the NBA, I like to watch teams like the Kings & the Mavs. I like their style of play. I particularly like to watch Steve Nash of the Mavs.

BDP: Who is going to win the Super Bowl?

I like Brett Farve, so I hope the Packer win.

BDP: Have you thought about what number you would like to wear at Duke?

Not really. I wear number 23, but Shelden has that number. I guess I will wear whatever they give me.

BDP: Did you grow up a Duke fan?

No. I was a Fab5 fan when I was growing up.

BDP: There was a rumor a while back that you may be transferring to Oak Hill next year. Any truth to it?

No. I hear stuff like that every once in a while, but there is no truth to it at all.
