CJ Miles Talks About His Recruitment

CJ Miles is a Class of 2005 wing forward prospect who has been hearing from Duke recently on the recruiting trail. Miles is a 6-6 wing forward who has seen his recruiting stock soar recently as a result of his recent strong performances in AAU events with his Team Texas team. Unfortunately, Miles will be participating in the Nike Memorial Day Classic in New Orleans this weekend, rather than the TOC in the Triangle area. However, we talked recently with Miles regarding his recruitment. Click on the link above to read the interview. (5/26/04)

Bubas - Perspectives on NBA Early Entries

Duke's basketball program has been hit hard in recent weeks by the decisions of Luol Deng & Shaun Livingston to accept early entry into the NBA draft. In an attempt to find a voice of reason, BDP contacted former Duke head coach Vic Bubas in order to obtain his perspective regarding this issue. We talked with Coach Bubas about what, if anything, the NCAA can or should do to deal with this problem, as well as his impressions on what, if anything, he would do regarding future recruiting for a top-level program, such as Duke, in dealing with the current environment. Click on the link above to view Coach Bubas' comments on the issues related to early entry. (5/19/04)
