Brian Zoubek |
Brian Zoubek - 7-0 C Cherry Hill, NJ (Haddonfield High School)
List of schools - Duke, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Rutgers, Virginia, Wake Forest
Zoubek is a true center with excellent footwork in the post. Makes good decisions when double or
triple teamed. "He's the old style of player that coaches love", Haddonfield head coach Paul Wiedeman said. "The biggest thing
they like about Brian is his footwork. At his age level, he is so far advanced. He has a nice drop step move to either side,
he can set up down low using his body, he does everything so well. His understanding of the game is far beyond the kids his
age. He's had a definite impact on our program, no doubt about that", Wiedeman said. "His progression in all aspects of the
game is just amazing. His footwork, his hands, his understanding of what to do in double teams, everything. Brian has greatly
improved this season."
Zoubek averaged more than 22 PPG & 13 RPG, while shooting better than 70% from the field as a
sophomore for his Haddonfield High School team. Zoubek is also an excellent student.

Jon Scheyer |
Jon Scheyer - 6-5 G Northbrook, Illinois (Glenbrook North HS)
List of schools - Duke, Kansas, Illinois, Marquette, Arizona, Michigan, Michigan State, California,
Texas
One of the Top 10 sophomores in the United States. A pure basketball talent. Scheyer has excellent
size, and uncanny instincts on the basketball court. In an era in which many guards fall under the category of either a slasher
or a shooter, Scheyers best strength is that he can do both. He also maintains a great court presence and is the consummate
teammate. "He has brilliance other players just dont have," says Glenbrook North head coach Dave Weber. "We all know he can shoot and score, but he makes some passes that you just think, How did he know
that guy was even going to be open? He reminds me of a young Larry Bird."
Averaged 25 PPG as a sophomore for his Glenbrook North High School team.
