Future Dukies David McClure & Demarcus Nelson competed tonight in the final night of the Glaxo/Smith/Kline

David McClure's Trinity Catholic High School team took on West Brunswick in the championship game

4-0 on the season. Coach K & Chris Collins were also in attendance for McClure's game.
I was able to speak to McClure before tonight's game about his foot injury. There had been some concern
that it could be a stress fracture of the foot. However, he had an MRI performed today which showed no fracture & the
injury is simply a deep bruise. McClure said that he had a lot of swelling in the foot & the doctors told him he would
just have to play through the pain until the swelling is lessened.
Tournament Notes:
JamesOn Curry did not make the trip with Eastern Alamance as he is sick with the flu. Eastern Alamance
lost their game to Ravenscroft.
Oak Hill defeated Archbishop Moellar of Ohio in the 8-team championship game that was fiercely contested.
Josh Smith, Brian Johnson, & Rajon Rondo were impressive for Oak Hill, while NC State signee Andrew Brackman was impressive
for Archbishop Moellar.
